What kind of steps do you think you could take in your community to help curb global warming?

I think youth can help curb global warming by learning about its dangers and how to prevent it. A lot of people don't know what to do to help take care of our Earth. Youth can find this information and put it into pamphlets to distribute to the community, including schools. This will raise awareness as well as action. It takes baby steps to accomplish anything big, and the first step is always to gain knowledge: do your research.

I seriously think that communities individually cannot hope to influence the factors that instigate global warming. Instead it would take a congregation of adjacent cities to formulate a plan of action against such establishments that have enduced the current situation of the environment. Perhaps this may even be a state issue. It seems sensible to address the issue of more fuel efficient automobiles. Within the past decade California, and other states specifically concerned with the global warming threat, have condoned the sale of lighter and more fuel efficient vehicles in their state but these types of bills aren't commonplace or widespread. Therefore the common consumer in Kansas cannot contribute to the cause against global warming as a resident of California... All I am saying is that legislation should consider passing such bills simply ALLOWING the sale of more environmentally friendly cars. The automobile companies recognize that an active stance to reduce emissions is a marketing tool that penetrates the perception of the coldness of corporations and lures the consumer to adopt sect-like obedience to the company... alright good music and my feet are carrying me to it... bye
