Hi there!
This year the Olathe Teen Council experienced some changes in its structure. We decided it would be a great idea to revise and refine a couple of concepts and try something different, with an attempt to engage more youth than ever before along the way. There are four senior high schools in the Olathe area, and this year we set a goal to have equal representation from each of the high schools in the Teen Council, including junior high, private, and home-school students. This way we hear from all types and levels of youth and gain a different perspective on the challenges we face in our hometown and ways in which to combat these. Together, in unity, we can resolve the worst of problems and come up with innovative solutions.
